Exhibition Annotation:
The quote is excerpted from Immanuel Kant’s 1795 essay ‘Perpetual Peace: A Philosophical Sketch.’ The Caravan-for the Rights of Refugees and Migrants in Berlin is a network of individuals, groups and organizations of refugees, migrants and Germans based on anti-imperialism and anti-racism. They are engaged in the struggle for socio-political justice, equality and respect for the fundamental human rights of everyone. In 1998/99 the Caravan traveled through 28 cities to protest state discrimination against refugees and migrants. This is a poster for one of the city events.
